Anzac Centenary Services Inverell

26th April 2015

Huge crowds attended both the Dawn Service and 11 am Service at Inverell for the Commemoration of the Centenary of Anzac. It was an incredible sight to see so many of all ages come to remember our service people over the past century.

At the 11 am service there was a rededication of the refurbished Cenotaph and World War 1 Honor Roll with a Smoking Ceremony accompanied by the haunting playing of the digeridoo. The RAAF from Williamtown provided a FA18 jet for a flyover before the Guest Speaker, Colonel Andrew Condon (CSC Retired) gave his address.

Thanks go to the Inverell RSL Sub Branch and all those who helped with the organisation of this great Service of Remembrance.

We will Remember them
